Paulina Combow is a freelance writer from Nashville, TN who points out the insecurities we all share and puts them on display to be celebrated (or at least tolerated).

Paulina performed in comedy clubs, casinos, bars and moose lodges all over the country.  She toured with the comedy tour Marina’s Comedy Cruise in 2015, and the Summer Wilderness Comedy Tour in 2016.

first step collective She’s an alumni of the sketch comedy group First Step Collective. They premiered their comedy revue Use Your Delusion in 2014, and later Frequent Delinquent in 2015 to sold out audiences in East Nashville’s The East Room.

She’s an absurd combo of blonde Sorority chick and awkward comedy nerd. Raised by television, she was inspired to study for and earn degrees in advertising and mass communications. She did qualitative research on MTV reality shows as well as upcoming platforms for comedy.

Paulina volunteered on-air for Radio Free Nashville, writing and producing four 2-hour shows a week with the Indie Bohemians Morning Show. The show was a spin of local and global news stories as well as pop culture and interview segments. Their podcast was #11 on Podomatic in News and Politics.

She hosted and produced a number of live shows in Nashville, TN, including the variety show Comedy Pug Hugs, an Open Mic Night at Vanderbilt University, and Pop Rock Comedy which was the first comedy show in Nashville’s famous Music Row.

Paulina voted in a local election so wine would be in grocery stores. She has a 90% success rate parallel parking and her mother refuses to see her do stand-up.
