Silly Overindulgent Bio: Paulina Combow was born at a very young age. Her parents were always older than her, which put them in an authority position that did not sit well with her.  Realizing she would never catch up to them, she decided to stop maturing mentally past the age of 21.

She recorded every episode of Saturday Night Live since 1999 on VHS until learning about DVR’s last month.  She enjoys pugs and dinosaurs, one of which no longer exists.

After grad school, she found herself with the decision between jumping into the deep end of the pool known as adulthood, or sloshing through the tumultuous waterslide world of comedy.  She chose to belly flop into the Nashville comedy scene, trying out improv, sketch comedy, storytelling, stand-up and screenwriting.  Ultimately, stand-up and screenwriting allowed her the most freedom to explore and express the awkwardly charming world inside her head.

Being raised by television inspired her to study for and earn degrees in advertising and mass communications.  She did qualitative research on MTV reality shows as well as upcoming platforms for comedy.  Paulina takes every opportunity afforded her to dive deeper into comedy whether it be a conference, class, club, writing group, festival, open mic, road trip or showcase.
